Did you know you can also hire our bikes from Wildfinder Days Bay? Extend the Pencarrow trails by starting in Days Bay, or coordinate with the East by West ferry from Wellington to create an awesome day trip.
Note that the road from Wildfinder Days Bay to Wildfinder Pencarrow can get quite busy during summer - always wear a helmet and look out for other road users. Turn right at Marine Parade to avoid traffic and link up with the coastal cycle trail (this meets Muritai Road again just before Wildfinder Pencarrow).

EQUIPMENT RECOMMENDATIONS
Bike any road-safe bike will be fine, from road bikes to mountain bikes. Nothing fancy required.
Tyres any road-safe tyres will do. Always take a pump and a spare tube so that you can vary the tyre pressure to suit the conditions, and be covered in case of puncture.
Clothing dress to the conditions (usually shorts and tshirt with a jersey in reserve, though you may wish to take thermals as well), and always take a light jacket. Closed shoes recommended.
